Meet the Doctor

Dr. Hofmeister has lived in the Chicago area all his life. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology in 1976 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Following graduation he studied and traveled in Europe, and worked for a period of time back home in the states. He entered the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry in August of 1978, graduating as a D.D.S. in the spring of 1982. That fall he entered the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant in the Dental Corps, serving four years prior to settling in at his Bartlett dental practice in late 1986. He actively pursues continuing education in the field and is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Dr. Hofmeister is married with three children: two daughters ages 23 and 17, and a 20 year old son. His eldest daughter is currently a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry, and hopes to join her dad's practice upon graduation

Dr. Hofmeister has a variety of interests including music, travel, foreign languages Tae Kwon Do and bicycling.
